Austin Vision Trip

Thank you for your interest in joining us on our vision trip to Austin, TX! We're excited for you to come walk the city, explore the campus, and imagine what God might do through a new church plant reaching the city of Austin.

What We're Doing

This 2-night trip is a chance to experience the city, pray over the campus, and connect with our team as you consider what it could look like to be part of the story God is writing through The Way Church and The Salt Company Austin.

We’ll spend time together exploring downtown and the UT campus, hearing the vision for the church plant, walking and praying through key neighborhoods, and sharing meals and conversations with others who are praying about joining the launch team. 


What It Costs

There is no official trip fee — but you are responsible for your own meals, travel to and around the city, and housing. You have two options for lodging:
  • Book your own hotel or Airbnb: We'll provide recommendations near downtown Austin (affordable options available — ~$100–150/night).
  • Request a host home: We'll do our best to find you a spot with someone from our local network. This could be a guest room or even a couch! Just remember that transportation within the city will be on your own.
You’ll also cover your own meals (we’ll coordinate a few shared meals). Once you sign up, we’ll send you a follow-up email with details on travel, housing, meals, and the weekend schedule.
